Hello! My name is Wai Lwin Phyo and I was born and raised in Yangon City. I graduated from the state’s high school in 2011 with flying colors in four subjects out of six, and the subjects with distinctions are Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. After going through the journey of self-study, which is my strongest suit, I discovered—long story short—I’m currently enrolled in the Health Science Bachelor’s Degree Program at the University of the People. Before enrolling in this program, I had the occupational experience as a junior translator for about two years and four months. Self-decisively, I’d like to contribute the evidence-based, scientific, intellectual asset towards the development of my native communities and the inclusive humanity of passionate learners across the globe, through the field of academia and professionalism. Although I didn’t have abundant in-person experience in the field of volunteering at the organizational level, I committed my effort of translation by volunteering at Khan Academy Burmese team as an affordable potential of contributing my growing work for the leading generations of youth and all the dedicated learners around the world.
